I love gadgets and especially electrical gadgets and, if you read the welcome message on the blog, you will see that I am also interested in many other household appliances. Creating a free wordpress theme for a blog about appliances was, therefore, high on my agenda but I wanted something that matched (to some degree) those Wordpress themes which I had already created.

The background image for the page is a pale blue texture with the main text of the page being black on white. I opted for a more pastel shade of blue for the links to make the page appear more calming than the usual bright blue links you see on many sites (even these days they remain popular). The main header image for the theme consists of two groups of electrical and household goods with one over to the left and the other to the right. I included a couple of white goods, such as the washing machine over to the right, and a few smaller items such as a kettle and a toaster (also shown to the right side of the header).
